After spending a night at the cabin with Jamie, I got the idea to read a non-picture book to the kids when I put them to bed each night.  It's become a ritual now (thanks Jamie!) and we've made it through several books:  The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane; Despereaux; The Wonderful Wizard of Oz; The Marvelous Land of Oz; and Ozma of Oz.  We'll be starting the next Oz book tomorrow night.  It's cool to think these books are over 100 years old, and kids still love them.

I was in a bad mood today.  Still am.

That is a great list - I can't wait to start reading those books with my son.
