Last night half of us made flan, lemon pudding cake and caramel and the other half made cheese cakes, as in plural. I made a chocolate, almond cheesecake which was easier than I thought. It was interesting to make something I would not want to eat, it was a mechanical process but I think successful. We taste the cheesecakes on Saturday. I think my all time favorite cheesecake was a slice I had at the Taco Temple: Cheesecake with gingerbread crust and raspberry and mango coulis. Delish.
Today I bought my first 25 pound bag of flour and Costco-sized vanilla.
