Tonight I tried to make this cool blackened salmon thing I found and it looked great but tasted like a salt lick. I had followed all the directions but then realized the Cajun spice I had used was a salt, not a rub. Damn. I have some more fish, so I'll try again tomorrow.
Why can't I cook?
We're having our first dinner party next Friday night, the same folks that had us over for the Murder Mystery dinner about a month ago. S emailed to let us know they'd be able to make it and asked if it was going to be another murder mystery. I told Bryan to reply, "Only if Megan's cooking."
