A co-worker, KM, told me about an inovative coffee-maker, Toddy Coffee. You combine a pound of coarsely-ground coffee and cold water into this container and you let it "brew" on the counter for 12 hours. After that, you let it drain through the special filter and you end up with a syrupy coffee concentrate that can be refrigerated for up to two weeks while still retaining its delicious coffee flavor. Then you just add hot water or milk to the concentrate whenever you want a cup of coffee. It's brewing on the counter right now.
