Now we back out of everything. Cancel insurance, sell car, switch-over the carte grise, send off a bunch of mail saying, "Stop please," in our nicest French. Today I ran all my errands on a bike: bought my last Gaperon, two pieces of butcher-raised steak (to whom I was directed by a local), some peaches and melon from my friendly fruit guy and some new-to-me-never-tried, Brebis yogurt.
This afternoon, the mother of Bea and Isaac's friend Magdalena, invited us over to play for the last time. I really like Sophie and I could see us being good friends if we had stayed. Maybe next time.
