Christmas Day

La Bûche is a traditional cake eaten on Christmas. You know we had to get one. This particular cake is chocolate, whipped creme, chocolate creme, custard and black cherries. The kids, having just ingested a slice, are now running around the house, heads spinning.

They moved so fast this morning they were only filmable on video, a small snippet of which will appear on the link a little later tonight.

We opened gifts, we read, played with cars, listened to music and had a wonderful day. Isaac has a brain for memorizing the make of each of the matchbox cars they have, and currently he's obsessed with the Pugeot 307. Bryan made a delicious 4-course Christmas Dinner and now we're just hanging out feeling full, satisfied, and as Bea would say, "Everybody's happy!" Merry Christmas.

Aren't they the most beautiful children...

You need to tape Bea saying "everyone's happy".
